About Trade: Why Main Street America Should Embrace Globalization
With the global economy facing its worst recession in
decades, what are the biggest threats to open markets in this era of
globalization? Is there such a thing as "free but fair" trade? We hope you'll be
able to join us as Mr. Griswold discusses these questions and exuberantly shows
that globalization and free trade are to be appreciated, not blamed, for what
they provide to Main Street. Mad about Trade, a new book from the Cato Institute and a spirited
defense of free trade, tells the underreported story of how a more global U.S.
economy has created better jobs and higher living standards for American
workers.
