Biography:

Kishore Eechambadi is a humanitarian entrepreneur and co-founder of The Coupon Doc, a healthcare startup he launched in July of 2011. Prior to launching The Coupon Doc, Mr. Eechambadi was selected as one of 24 individuals to receive the American India Foundation William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service, an annual fellowship designed to affect positive social and economic change in India and to increase connectivity between American professionals and Indian NGOs. As an AIF Clinton Fellow, he worked with village entrepreneurs in India to build up successful microenterprises and promote strengthening the livelihood of rural villagers in the state of Rajasthan through grassroots microenterprises. This project involved employing tribal villagers to operate a soy-processing machine, with the dual goals of providing employment and tackling the problem of malnourishment. In addition, Mr. Eechambadi conducted extensive risk analysis on microfinance in the region to determine if microfinance was in danger of borrower defaults or MFI abuse.

From July 2009 – May 2010, Mr. Eechambadi worked as a strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting. He graduated from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with an undergraduate degree in Finance and Law. He currently resides in Chicago, IL where he focuses on his newest enterprise, The Coupon Doc (thecoupondoc.com), a site that saves users time and money by aggregating manufacturer discounts for medications. This company is a participant in Healthbox Accelerator, a startup incubator that provides healthcare startups with seed capital and mentorship.
