Town Hall with T. Boone Pickens

Join us on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Halton Theater, CPCC Central Campus in Charlotte, N.C. for a Town Hall with T. Boone Pickens

Mr. Pickens will discuss the Pickens Plan, a detailed solution for ending the United States' growing dependence on foreign oil.  The plan calls for investing in power generation from domestic renewable resources such as wind and using our abundant supplies of natural gas as a transportation fuel, replacing more than one-third of our imported oil.

The Pickens Plan was unveiled on July 8, 2008, and since that time more than 1.5 million people have joined the "Pickens Army" through the website pickensplan.com.

The Town Hall with T. Boone Pickens is open to the public, and tickets for the event are available at no charge.

To request your tickets, please complete the online reservation form, or contact the Jesse Helms Center Foundation by phone (704) 233-1776, ext. 1
