Hall

T.
Boone
Pickens.

Mr.
Pickens
will
discuss
the
Pickens
Plan,
a
detailed
solution
for
ending
the
United
States'
growing
dependence
on
foreign
oil.
The
plan
calls
for
investing
in
power
generation
from
domestic
renewable
resources
such
as
wind
and
using
our
abundant
supplies
of
natural
gas
as a
transportation
fuel,
replacing
more
than
one-third
of
our
imported
oil.
The
Pickens
Plan
was
unveiled
on
July
8,
2008,
and
since
that
time
more
than
1.5
million
people
have
joined
the
"Pickens
Army"
through
the
website
pickensplan.com.
The
Town
Hall
with
T.
Boone
Pickens
is
open
to
the
public,
and
tickets
for
the
event
are
available
at
no
charge.

The Town Hall with T. Boone Pickens will be held at the Dale F. Halton Theater (located in the Overcash Building) at the CPCC Central Campus in downtown Charlotte. For driving directions to the Halton Theater, please use the interactive map below.
